Care instructions
Please read our care guide carefully - below we have detailed how to keep your Eyla jewelry in perfect condition!
All Eyla jewelry is made of sterling silver - this means a more stable, harder material than pure silver (it contains 7.5% other metals), but it is still worth being careful when putting them on and taking them off. It is advisable to be extra careful when putting on and taking off the pieces, as the stems of earrings can bend, and the material of adjustable rings can weaken in places if they are adjusted too quickly, excessively, and too often. Of course, none of these can happen with proper use.
Our products can be worn in both fresh and saltwater - but we recommend taking them off in thermal water, during sports, or in the sauna, and placing them in the fabric pouch provided in the package. If possible, protect gold-plated and crystal/stone-decorated jewelry from contact with hand creams, chlorine, chemicals, perfumes, and sweat. Furthermore, if the gold-plated or crystal/stone-decorated jewelry is expected to be underwater for an extended period or exposed to increased moisture, we also recommend removing the jewelry. For rings decorated with crystals or stones, we recommend removing the jewelry before washing your hands.
Our undecorated sterling silver jewelry can be worn in both fresh and saltwater without any restrictions. Occasionally, silver may oxidize - which is a natural process that occurs over time. Oxidation can be easily removed with a few strokes using the polishing cloth included in the package. Oxidized jewelry shows a darker, matte surface than silver, but since this is exclusively a surface change, it can be easily removed.
When you are not wearing a piece of jewelry, it is advisable to put it back in its fabric pouch - thanks to its small size, it can fit in your pocket and you can easily take it with you.
